What is the biggest opportunity Romania is currently missing in the energy sector?
| |
Romania has significant potential for renewable energy generation, but one opportunity it is still not fully capitalizing on is integrating this generation with energy storage and smart energy management solutions. It is not enough to produce green energy; we need to be able to use it when it is needed, reduce consumption peaks, and turn consumers into active participants in the energy system.
At the same time, we are losing value due to the lack of a sufficiently clear and predictable framework for energy storage, flexibility, energy communities, and the use of surplus energy. We need to move from standalone projects towards integrated energy systems.

What change could completely transform the energy market over the next five years?
| |
The shift from simply producing energy to managing it intelligently could fundamentally transform the market. Integrating photovoltaic generation with batteries, monitoring and automation systems, and controllable loads will allow companies and communities to use energy more efficiently and become less vulnerable to price fluctuations or supply interruptions.
A coherent regulatory framework for energy storage, flexibility, and energy communities would accelerate this transformation. The technology already exists; the next step is to create the conditions for it to be implemented and scaled effectively.

What is your prediction for the energy sector through 2036?
| |
By 2036, the energy system will become much more decentralized, flexible, and digitalized. Photovoltaic generation, energy storage, and consumption management will no longer be treated as separate elements, but as parts of the same system.
We will see more companies, households, and communities generating, storing, and managing their energy locally. Hybrid solutions and microgrids will play an important role in industrial, commercial, and residential applications, as well as in critical infrastructure. The key differentiator will no longer be installed capacity alone, but how effectively available energy is coordinated and used.

Green Energy Expo & Romenvirotec creates a much-needed platform connecting technology, expertise, investment, and decision-making. The energy transition cannot be accelerated simply by showcasing products; it requires dialogue between manufacturers, system integrators, authorities, investors, and end users.
The event provides an opportunity not only to discover new technologies, but also to understand how they can be integrated into functional solutions and adapted to real-world needs. Such events facilitate knowledge transfer, foster partnerships, and build confidence in modern energy solutions.

What value did your participation in previous editions bring, and what motivated you to return as an exhibitor at Green Energy Expo & Romenvirotec 2027?
| |
Participating in previous editions gave us the opportunity to engage directly with industry professionals, partners, developers, and companies interested in high-performance energy solutions. For us, the value of such an event lies not only in business connections, but also in the exchange of knowledge and the opportunity to discuss the market's real needs in practical terms.
We are returning in 2027 to showcase not just equipment, but complete solutions built around energy generation, storage, smart energy management, and long-term technical support. We want to contribute to a more mature discussion about moving from products to systems, and from energy generation to efficient energy management.

The solutions transforming the energy sector deserve to be seen.
